Raymond is a sophmore at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and debated for six years on the national circuit. From helping organize tournaments to mentoring younger students, he has coached students at all levels. Competitively, he championed the University of Michigan and the North American Debate Circuit, and reached quarterfinals at Columbia University. He ended his senior year ranked Top 10 in the country for Public Forum Debate by the NSDA. Beyond debate, Raymond enjoys playing badminton and piano, and is looking forward to working with Elevate Debate students!
Daisy Wong is a senior at Richard Montgomery High School in Maryland and has debated in Public Forum for 5 years. As a national competitor, she has reached finals at NYU, Cal State Fullerton Invitational, and Spring Scholarship Showdown, and were semi-finalists at the Georgetown as well as quarterfinals at Harvard. As a speaker, she earned 3rd at the NYU Global Debate Invitational, 6th at Spring Scholarship showdown and top 20 for countless other tournaments. She loves teaching other students. Daisy is super excited to work with everyone this upcoming year!
Katherine is a junior at Richard Montgomery High School and has been debating in Public Forum for 4 years. She’s reached elimination rounds at tournaments like Stanford, SVUDL, and Cal State Fullerton Invitational, qualifying for the Tournament of Champions last year! Aside from debate, Katherine likes painting and reading. She looks forward to working with Elevate Debate!
Ryan is a junior at Richard Montgomery High School and has been debating in Public Forum for 5 years. He's won tournaments such as NYU, Lakelands, and SVUDL, and finaled UK, qualifying for the Tournament of Champions last year! Ryan is super excited to work with Elevate!
Grace is a junior at Richard Montgomery High School and has been debating on Public Forum on the national circuit for 5 years. She has gone undefeated in prelims at Harvard, ranked Top 4 at Middle School Tournament of Champions, and championed Georgetown Day School. Most notably, she has received 3 silver bids from Stanford, Cal State, and Milo Cup, qualifying to the HS Tournament of Champions this year. As a speaker, Grace has been ranked top speaker at Georgetown University. She is excited to meet all the new students!
Paul is a junior at Winston Churchill High School and debated for 5 years on the national circuit. He has reached semifinals at George Washington University, quarterfinals at the MS Tournament of Champions and Tim Averill, and placed within the top 10 speakers at the North American Debate Circuit, Tim Averill, and reached deep elimination rounds in multiple other tournaments. Beyond debate, Paul enjoys performing violin and piano, and he loves to cook. Paul is looking forward to working with Elevate Debate students!
Abhay is a freshman at Jasper High School and has been debating in Public Forum for 3 years on the national circuit. Notably, he championed Harvard, Stanford, and Georgetown, and reached quarterfinals at Digital TOC, losing only 3 rounds across the four tournaments. Individually, he has received speaker awards at nearly every tournament, often placing in the top 10 of 200+ debaters. Abhay is excited to help introduce newer students to debate and hopes to make a difference in the debate space!
Darshan is a freshman at the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. He has been debating for 2 years on the national circuit where he has notably championed prestigious tournaments including Harvard, Stanford and Georgetown. Darshan has also debated for 2 years on his state parliamentary circuit where he has earned multiple top 10 speaker awards at tournaments with 150+ competitors. Darshan looks forward to helping students with their oration skills and the implications of the skills of debate!
Cynthea Wang is a senior at Richard Montgomery High School in Maryland and has debated in the Public Forum national circuit for 5 years. As a competitor, she has reached outrounds at several national tournaments including the Mid America Cup, the Yale Invitational, and the NYC Invitational, qualifying for the Gold TOC two years in a row. Cynthea is excited to meet new students!
Meggie is a senior at Richard Montgomery High School. She has participated in competitive extemporaneous speech for two years and have been debating public forum for the past five years. On the national circuit she has placed top 16 at Georgetown, and top 32 at Harvard University. She enjoys reading and cooking in her free time and loves to travel!
Jenny is a senior at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey and has been debating on the Public Forum national circuit for 4 years. She is the Vice President and PF captain of her school’s debate team. As a competitor, she has reached quarterfinals at Georgetown and top 64 at Harvard. Jenny is super excited to work with Elevate Debate!
Harrison is a junior at Winston Churchill High School in Maryland and has debated in Public Forum for 4 years. As a national competitor, he has reached elimination rounds in many tournaments such as George Mason University, Georgetown, Middle School Tournament of Champions, and many more.
